Intern - Engineering

We are seeking an Engineering Intern for our Summer 2025 Internship program. This individual will be responsible for providing engineering support for the St. Louis Color Engineering group, including support of new equipment design and development, project management and process improvement.

What you’ll do:

  • Support capital projects execution under direction of the Project Manager, including scope of work development, writing of project charter, submittal for approval, management of project execution, budgeting and scheduling.
  • Work with vendors to price equipment and develop small projects.
  • Update active project drawings base on red line changes provided by Project Engineers.
  • Help develop and document site standards as it relates to capital project execution.
  • Ensure highest level of commitment to Safe Quality Food (SQF) to provide assurance that all products have been produced, prepared and handled according to the highest standards. 

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous Engineering internship experience is preferred but not required.
  • Junior standing at a 4-year University preferably in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3.0 GPA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team on a broad variety of projects, with good professional appearance and demeanor.
  • The ability to influence others as well as strong negotiation skills and an ability to deliver effective and accurate results while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter and the ability to execute, multi-task and thrive in an extremely fast paced, high growth environment.
