Are you an experienced and driven sales leader ready to take on a high-impact role in an international environment? At Sensient, we’re seeking a Sales Director for our Thailand business.

This role offers the opportunity to join our senior leadership team and lead a high-performing Sales organization in Thailand. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will shape strategic growth initiatives, deliver against ambitious sales goals, and develop a strong team culture.

What You Will Do

  • Lead Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement strategic plans that drive sales growth, market share, and profitability. Identify new market opportunities, key segments, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Business Development & Market Analysis: Build comprehensive business plans for key accounts and market development initiatives. Work closely with R&D and Marketing to drive innovation and pipeline activity.
  • Team Leadership: Build, manage, mentor and coach sales team towards making significant business growth. Ensure engagement, capability development, and succession planning for long-term team success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with peers in R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance to align goals and deliver exceptional customer value.
  • Drive Pricing and Marketing Initiatives: Oversee pricing strategies and marketing programs together with Marketing/R&D to support Sales team in driving customer innovation and growth.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven Sales Leadership Experience in Food Ingredients: A successful track records in sales within a manufacturing environment with proven in driving sales growth — ideally in specialty food ingredients, and value add solutions— with a strong customer and financial focus.
  • Strategic & Commercial Mindset: Ability to understand market dynamics, translate them into actionable strategies, and manage business plans to meet ambitious targets.
  • Strong People Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing remote, international teams. Effective communication, mentoring, and performance management skills are essential.
  • Cross-Functional Agility: A collaborative approach with the ability to work across departments and geographies to solve problems and drive business results.
  • Marketing & Product Insight: Understanding of market trends and product innovation with the ability to lead effective pricing strategies and customer-facing marketing efforts.
  • Mobility & Presence: Willingness to travel across Thailand to maintain strong customer relationships and team engagement.
  • Fluent in Thai & English: to communicate with local, regional and corporate teams.
