Forklift Operator I

We are seeking a Forklift Operator I to join our team in Livingston, CA. This role is ideal for someone who likes variety in their day, works well with others, and is motivated to do things the right way every time. You will work onsite in a manufacturing environment where reliability, safety, and attention to detail matters.

What you’ll do:

• Receive, inspect, and inventory incoming materials and finished goods from internal operations and external suppliers
• Pick, stage, and prepare products to support customer and internal orders
• Load and unload trucks that transport materials between facilities
• Perform regular inventory checks to ensure records match physical product
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support team goals by communicating clearly and assisting others as needed

What you’ll bring:

• A positive work attitude, strong sense of responsibility and the ability work a rotating shift schedule.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and pass forklift safety test (driving and written)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include multiple shifts within the same week or overtime on short notice
• Comfort working onsite in environments that may range from 35˚ F to over 100˚ F, the ability to lift 50-100lbs and roll drums weighing up to 315 lb.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English and complete simple math computations (+,-, x, ÷)
• Strong attention to detail when working with product names, labels, and instructions
• High School diploma or equivalent

Sensient Agricultural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Agricultural Ingredients unit is located in Livingston, California. 

The hourly wage for this position is $25.79 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.  In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.
