QC Technician I

We are looking for a Quality Control Technician I performs the analytical chemists analysis needed to guarantee the food safety and quality of the manufactured products. Performs the practices required to guarantee the manufacturing conditions according to the Quality Assurance System.

Assures the compliance of Sensient Colors analysis and good manufacturing practices standards within the manufacturing facility, including raw materials, finished goods and equipment to guarantee the customer requirements.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct physicochemical analyses of raw materials, specialty products, or synthetics (paints and lacquers) in accordance with quality control procedures.

• Maintain appropriate records and reports to ensure traceability in support of the Quality Management System. 

• Use a range of software, techniques, and equipment to perform analyses. 

• Provide analytical support for daily business operations. 

• Ensure chemical analysis of any input entering the laboratory.

• Record results of physicochemical tests performed on the product to issue timely reports. 

• Ensure the proper use of quality control equipment and materials in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices. 

• Maintain appropriate records and reports of physicochemical analyses to ensure traceability and support the Quality Management System. 

• Approve equipment from the production area when required.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor's degree or technical degree in chemistry, microbiology, Biochemistry, food science or equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Office professional Management (Excel, PPT, Word, etc).
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (e.g., handling of chemicals and glassware, preparation of standards and reagents, proper measuring techniques, data management, housekeeping).
