Engineer III

We are seeking an Engineer III to help support the Color Division initiatives in the areas of Engineering, Process Improvement, and Manufacturing Technology. Providemore advanced engineering design and project management expertise in the design, construction, and start-up of capital projects at the St. Louis facility. Directly coordinate or provide project oversight of outside engineering and construction firms on capital project executions.
What you will do:
- Track project schedules and budgets, providing timely updates to management on potential delays.
- Lead and manage all phases of advanced and complex projects, including development, engineering, implementation, and monitoring.
- Supervise external engineering and construction firms during major capital projects and ensure alignment with company standards.
- Perform or oversee conceptual and preliminary engineering design for facility projects, including building and process modifications.
- Collaborate with St. Louis site teams (EHS, Quality, Maintenance, Production) and support standardization and testing of new process equipment and technologies.
What you will bring:
- Preferably 5+ years of engineering experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience with capital projects or process engineering is preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical disciplines.
- Ability to think independently, yet work as a team player.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Broad understanding of various engineering technologies and systems.
- Ability to interpret and read technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
