Sample Lab Technician

Analytics Team: Lead flavor research and analysis using instrumentation like HPLC, GC, and GC-MS. Improve and develop lab workflows and methodologies. Mentor staff to ensure both technical excellence and financial success through collaborative efforts.
Sensory Team: Design and execute sensory and consumer research to provide in-depth understanding of products and consumers for product development, optimization and maintenance. Conduct panels and apply statistical analysis to deliver actionable insights. Lead training of cross-functional teams and customers in flavor language.
Innovation Team: Utilize scientific expertise to develop cutting-edge ingredients, formulations, and technologies. Contribute to groundbreaking product advancements. Collaborate with a global network of Sensient scientists to shape our industry's future.
Applications Team: Partner with customers in labs and at their facilities to bring their product visions to life. Solve challenges, provide creative solutions to deliver innovative products which align with customer goals across various industries.

Sample Lab Technician

We are seeking a Sample Lab Technician to join our growing team! This role will be an integral part of ensuring our customers our product samples in a timely manner.
What You’ll Do:
- Pack out finished goods into designated containers and package samples for shipment and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide all necessary samples using appropriate equipment and procedures. Prepare all sample request, labels, and prints all related documentation to be included in packages to be sent to customer.
- Notify Sample Supervisor of any known delays or problems.
- Cycle count bulk materials. Perform other duties as assigned
- Provides back up for other Sample Room functions, Sample Supervisor, and Sample Technician positions. Seek to improve ways and methods to become more efficient and better serve the customer, both internal and external.
What You’ll Bring:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Ability to prioritize. Ability to perform efficiently and amicably while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to work in a laboratory environment.

- Collaborative spirit, good communication skills, computer experience and attention to detail.
