Superintendent of Warehouse and Recieving

We are looking for a Superintendent of Receiving and Warehouse to join our team and support the Natural Ingredients business in Turlock, California. You will serve as the primary supervisor for all facility-wide activities as well as primary administrative responsibilities on a given shift. This position is the highest acting authority on site during off hours. Primary area of focus is to ensure warehouse expectations are met while maintaining product quality levels and a safe working environment.
What you’ll do:
- Assure efficient use of staff and equipment to meet warehouse and receiving needs while maintaining cost and overtime to a minimum
- Assists in maintaining, creating, and enforcing accurate policies and procedures across facility
- Foster a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing all safety policies and regulations
- Analyzes transportation, receiving and warehouse data and recommends measures for continuous improvement. Also supports and promotes employee involvement in continuous improvement programs
- Provides leadership and direction via good communication skill
What you’ll bring:
- Hands-on leadership experience with the ability to guide, support, and develop team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both receiving, warehouse and transportation staff and management.
- Possesses a strong data analysis aptitude.
- Prior warehouse, transportation and/or receiving experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, leadership qualities, and interpersonal skills.

About Sensient Natural Ingredients
Sensient Natural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.
SPONSORSHIP: Due to our inability to offer visa sponsorship, we can only consider candidates who are authorized to work in the US without the need for employment visa sponsorship.
RELOCATION: We are unable to offer relocation assistance. The successful candidate will be expected to work at Livingston, California and must reside in the area or be willing to commute.
