Conduct panels and apply statistical analysis to deliver actionable insights. Lead training of cross-functional teams and customers in flavor language.

Innovation Team: Utilize scientific expertise to develop cutting-edge ingredients, formulations, and technologies. Contribute to groundbreaking product advancements. Collaborate with a global network of Sensient scientists to shape our industry's future.

Applications Team: Partner with customers in labs and at their facilities to bring their product visions to life. Solve challenges, provide creative solutions to deliver innovative products which align with customer goals across various industries.

As a Field Representative with Sensient’s Agronomy team, you will support and manage botanical colorant contract growers in the Philippines, based in Calabarzon, Iloilo, Palawan or General Santos City. You’ll collaborate with regional agronomists, consultants, and academic partners to manage contract farming relationships in the region.

What you’ll do:

  • Carry out standardized Sensient agronomic practices across all farms from seed to post-harvest to maximize yield in terms of pigmentation and harvest output
  • Conduct regular farm visits across the region, collect data, and writes timely and accurate field reports
  • Implement soil and water testing, GPS-positioning, and farm record keeping across all contract farms
  • Execute germplasm adaptation trials, preliminary and advanced yield trials of breeding materials across the region
  • Monitor for insects, weeds, diseases and abiotic stresses and recommends appropriate prophylactic and curative recommendations
  • Develop innovative farming practices for optimum yield and pigment production of botanical colorants

What you’ll bring: 

  • College or bachelor’s degree (preferably in agriculture and related fields)
  • Experience with farms, machinery /equipment and familiarity with farm management
  • A valid driver’s license and demonstrated ability to drive a truck to remote farms
  • Analytical thinking skills and ability to work independently and within a team
  • Intermediate English proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Amenable to up to, and at times exceeding, 50% domestic travel
