We are hiring a Lead Operator in Livingston, CA. This position requires on-site presence and the flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime with short notice.

What you’ll do

• Operate production machinery and carry out material handling and flake processing tasks
• Identify and communicate process issues or risks to help improve operations
• Follow standardized work instructions while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Support and contribute to cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the work area
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities with leadership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve systems and procedures
• Adapt to various shifts and respond to overtime requests when needed

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Familiarity with safe work practices and an understanding of compliance expectations
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Comfort using basic computer programs for documentation and communication
• A flexible mindset with the willingness to work different shifts or extended hours
• Technical certifications or experience with drying or heating systems are a plus

Sensient Natural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California. 

The pay for this position is $28.75/hour.Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.
