Sr. Application Manager

Analytics Team: Lead flavor research and analysis using instrumentation like HPLC, GC, and GC-MS. Improve and develop lab workflows and methodologies. Mentor staff to ensure both technical excellence and financial success through collaborative efforts.
Flavor Creation Team: Develop innovative flavors across diverse market segments, including Beverage, Savory, and Sweet. Work closely with customers and our Applications Teams to deliver impactful, tailored solutions which drive growth and exceed market expectations.
Sensory Team: Design and execute sensory and consumer research to provide in-depth understanding of products and consumers for product development, optimization and maintenance. Conduct panels and apply statistical analysis to deliver actionable insights. Lead training of cross-functional teams and customers in flavor language.
Innovation Team: Utilize scientific expertise to develop cutting-edge ingredients, formulations, and technologies. Contribute to groundbreaking product advancements. Collaborate with a global network of Sensient scientists to shape our industry's future.
Applications Team: Partner with customers in labs and at their facilities to bring their product visions to life. Solve challenges, provide creative solutions to deliver innovative products which align with customer goals across various industries.

Join our Flavors team in Tlalnepantla as a Sr. Application Manager, where you’ll lead R&D and food application engineering teams, partner closely with Sales and customers, and shape solutions that bring innovative flavor applications to market. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead and develop our application labs while driving technical excellence and customer-focused innovation.
What you’ll do:
Lead the Sweet, Savory, and Beverages Application Labs, providing technical direction, training, and guidance in product development.
Partner closely with internal and external customers, translating customer needs and new product ideas into creative, application-focused solutions.
Lead customer presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing innovative concepts and application capabilities.
Collaborate with Flavorists and the Sensory Lab to validate flavors, develop suitable methodologies, and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
Drive formulation and product development, creating new formulation systems, specifications, and creative alternatives that meet customer and business requirements.
What you’ll bring:
Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate multi-site, cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose challenges, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective solutions.
